Over three decades, many art students have passed through my studio, and each one brought me joy — with the hope that they would continue the tradition of classical knowledge of the métier. Many of them became professional artists and some my beloved friends. All deserve their place on this page and here are a few of their works.

Sandra Savella passed away after a short illness in 2017. She was only 55 years old. Sandra was a beautiful soul, with so much love to give. Her art came to her with the same ease, as did her love for her family, friends — and life. She developed her personal style early in her formative years and applied it with the tender and sensitive touch of a brushstroke, determined to reveal the humanity in each of her models. We will always remember you, dear friend. You brought only beauty, joy and love to all of us.
